Evaluation & Promotion
Bahria College Karsaz follows the following promotion criteria:
Examinations from Prep class to class VIII are conducted by the college and results are tabulated on the basis of the following criteria:
a. Final percentage in each subject is calculated on the basis of accumulated results of the First, Second and the Third terminal Examinations with weightage given to each terminal as follows:
EXAM CORE SUBJECTS NON-CORE SUBJECTS
First Terminal 10% 30%
Second Terminal 30% 40%
Third Terminal 60% 30%
b. For the percentage of promotion, aggregate is considered a subject.
c. The pass percentage for each subject is 40 percent and for aggregate 45%.
Promotion policy for class Prep to Class VIII
The college will conduct examination from class Prep to class VIII.
The final percentage in each subject is tabulated on the basis of accumulated results of these examinations with their weightage.
For the purpose of promotion, aggregate is considered as a subject in which passing marks are 45%.
The pass percentage for each subject is 40%.
Students failing in any one core subject in successive classes will not be promoted.
A student failing twice consecutively in the same class in the annual examination is to be withdrawn from the college.
The college council decides the deserving cases warranting special consideration.
Note: To make oneself eligible to appear for the Secondary & Higher Secondary Board Examination, it is mandatory to qualify the SSC & HSSC Send-up/Pre-Board Examinations conducted by the college.
