     b.   Karachi Board Examination:                                                     

(1)  Sania Rasool Bhutto secured 1st position in Karachi Board with 88.82% marks in Pre-Engineering Group in year 2007. It is worthmentioning that it was the first time in the history that  any student of Bahria colleges secured first position in the board. On this remarkable achievement of the student, NHQ has awarded her with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000.

(2) Maryam Abdul Majeed secured 2nd Position (computer science group) in Karachi Board with 83.36% marks in HSSC General Science group and Fahmiyah Khatri secured 3rd Position (pre-engg. group) in Karachi Board with 90.36% marks in HSSC Pre-Engineering group in 2010.

(3) In Karachi board HSSC part-II Annual Examination 2010  Bahria College Karsaz have secured 8th , 10th , 12th positions in the Pre-Medical group, 3rd , 4th , 6th 10th ,10th , 12th, 13th 14th , 14th , 16th , 17th , 18th , 20th positions in Pre-Engineering and 2nd position in General Science among Top 20 scholarship entitled positions of the board. These students are also awarded merit certificates by commander Karachi.

         (4) 3 Students of Special Children School Karsaz appeared in HSSC-II exams 2011.  All of them qualified with A-1 grade.

CO-CURRICULAR ACHIEVEMENTS:

(1) Karachi Board organized its 8th Inter-Collegiate Science Exhibition in which 60 well reputed colleges/institutes of the city displayed about 300 Science Projects.  BCKz Students won the 1st prize in Computer Science Project “Winky Learn”  with cash award of Rs 5000/-, 2nd prize in Physics Project “Infrared Laser Thermometer” with cash award of Rs 3000/- and 3rd prize in Chemistry Project “Ferro Fluids” with cash award of Rs 2000/- and won the overall Champions Trophy.

(2) Sir Adamjee Institute organized its Inter-Collegiate Bilingual Declamation Contest in which 15 well-reputed Institutes, Colleges and Universities participated. Bahria College Karsaz won 2nd prize in English and 3rd prize in Urdu speeches.

(3) Govt Degree College Malir Cantt on December 2010 organized its annual speech contest and Naat & Qiraat Competitions. Students of Bahria College Karsaz won consolation prize in Qiraat competition.   

(4) SUPPARCO organized “World Space Week 2010” in which 45 schools/colleges participated from Karachi. The students of Bahria College Karsaz won 1st position in English declamation and 4th position   in poster competition.

(5) Dhaka Collegiate organized its Annual Promptu Speech Contest at city level in which more than 100 renowned colleges/ universities participated. 03 students of Bahria College Karsaz won 1st prize and 02 students won 3rd prize respectively in zonal competition and selected for Grand Finale.

(6)  Federal board organized its Annual Science Exhibition at Islamabad in      January 2011. Bahria College Karsaz won the following prizes/awards in the said competitions:

(7) Board of Intermediate Education Karachi organized its Annual Ashra-e-Taleem-o-Tarbiat (Co-curricular Activities) comprising the events such as Qiraat, Naat, Quiz, Debates & Essay Competitions among all affiliated colleges.  The competitions were organized in two phases.  10 students of the college have been selected in all 07 events qualifying for the final phase which is to be held during the current session. It is the highest number of students selected from any single college affiliated with Karachi Board.

(8) iEARN Pakistan selects students every year from Pakistan under their YES scholarship programme to send them on one year study period to the USA. For the session 2010-2011, iERAN has selected two boys and one girl from Bahria College Karsaz to study abroad under the said programme.

(9) Commecs Institute of Business and Science Management has arranged their Annual Qiraat & Naat Competition and Bilingual Declamation Contest on 10th and 11th November 2010.  Bahria College Karsaz won the following prizes:

·        Naat                      1st prize

·        Qiraat                   Special Prize

·        Speech                 Special Prize

·        Overall Champions Trophy

(10) Govt. Jauhar Degree College has organized its Annual Day on 10th March 2011 in which more than 24 colleges participated.  Bahria College Karsaz has won 1st prize in Naat, 2nd prize in Qiraat competition and 3rd prize in Declamation contest alongwith overall Champions Trophy. 

(11) Govt. Delhi College has organized its college week from 21 to 23 February 2011 in which more than 20 colleges participated.  Bahria College Karsaz has won 1st prize in Declamation Contest and 2nd Prize in Qiraat competition.

(12) Govt. College for Men Nazimabad organized its Annual Naat and Qiraat Competition on 22 February 2011 in which 18 colleges participated. Bahria College Karsaz won the 2nd prize in Qiraat competition. 

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACHIEVEMENTS

(1)  Karachi Board organized its Inter-Collegiate Tennis Championship in which renowned affiliated colleges participated. Bahria College Karsaz won the Champions Trophy by winning 03 straight sets.

(2)  Karachi Board organized its Basketball Tournament for boys at Sports Complex of NED University of Engineering & Technology. College Team won the Runners Up Trophy.

(3)  Karachi Board organized its Swimming Championship at KMC Sports Complex in which renowned affiliated colleges participated. Bahria College Karsaz team won 03 Gold Medals, 02 Silver and 03 Bronze Medals.

(4)  Karachi Board organized its Squash Championship at Sindh Sports Complex in which the College team won the Runners-up Trophy.

(5)  4th World Green Festival on Traditional Wrestling Sports was organized at Tashkend, Uzbekistan in which Muhammad Faran, student of Bahria College Karsaz participated in under 17 Mix Martial Arts. He represented Pakistan and brought home Gold Medal.

(6)  One of our student participated in Sindh Swimming Champion Ship and won 01 gold medal, 01 silver medal and 01 bronze medal in different categories. 

(7)  Bahria College Karsaz participated in an Intercollegiate Basket Ball Championship for girls organized by Karachi Board and held at Sir Syed Girls Degree College. Bahria College Karsaz won the Runners-Up trophy.

(8)  Students of the Special Children School participated in City Olympic Games organized by Special Olympics Pakistan, they won 07 Gold, 03 Silver and 07 Bronze medals.

(9)  Two Students of Special Children School participated in International Special Olympic Games held in China and won two bronze medals in basketball competition.

(10) Second Special Olympics Asia Pacific, was organized in Brunai Darussalam. Shumaila Rubab, a student of Special Children School Karsaz won 03 gold medals in all the three events (single, double & team events) of Bocce Competitions.

(11) Eleventh Punjab State Special Olympics were held in Ludhiana, India. Irfan Latif, student of Special Children School Karsaz, sponsored by Special Olympics Pakistan participated in the said Olympics. He won the gold medal in Bocce Competition.

(12) Student of the college participated in the 18th National Shooting Championship 2010 and 50th Pakistan Naval Rifle Association (PNRA) Championship 2010 and won the following medals:

(13) Rotary Club of Karachi and Rotary Club of IDA RIEU jointly organized Special Abilympics at National Training and Coaching Centre in which more than twelve special children schools participated.  06 students of the school secured 1st position and 03 students secured 2nd position in different events of races & long jumps.

(14) National Games was organized by Special Olympics Pakistan (SOP) at KPT Sports Complex Karachi in the last week of September 2010 in which our athletes have shown outstanding performance by winning 07 gold, 04 silvers and 03 bronze medals in different events of volley ball, basket ball, bocce and swimming competition.

(15) HQs COMKAR arranged “COMKAR Command Inter Colleges and Schools Sports League in which Bahria College Karsaz won the Champions Trophy.

(16) In December 2010, Board of Intermediate Education Karachi organized Girls Swimming Championship in which Bahria College Karsaz won Runners Up trophy.

(17) Board of Intermediate Education Karachi organized its Inter-Collegiate Lawn Tennis competition for girls at Sir Syed College for women on 28 January 2011, in which more than 26 colleges of Karachi participated.  Lawn Tennis Team of Bahria College Karsaz has won the Champions Trophy by defeating DHA Degree College in the final.

(18) Board of Intermediate Education Karachi organized its Inter-Collegiate Badminton Championship 2010-11 in January 2011, at Sindh Sports Board Nazimabad in which 57 colleges of Karachi participated. Bahria College Karsaz has won the Runners-up trophy.

(19) Karachi Board organized its Inter-Collegiate Athletics Championship for Girls, at Karachi University.  Bahria College Karsaz won 2nd position in 100 meter hurdle race.

(20) Board of Intermediate Education Karachi organized its Table Tennis Girls Tournament held at Islamabad.  A student of Bahria College Karsaz was selected for participation.  Our student won 1st position in the said tournament.

(21) Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, organized Badminton Tournament for Girls, at Hyderabad.   Bahria College Karsaz won 1st prize.

(22) National Volley Ball Girls’ Championship was held at Karachi.  Two students of Bahria College Karsaz were selected for the national team.

(23) Inter house PNET Schools and Bahria Colleges Sports Tournament 2010 was held in Karachi.  Bahria College Karsaz were runner-up in basketball, whereas, won in the table tennis and badminton tournament.  Bahria College Karsaz brought home the Overall Champions Trophy of the tournament.

PROUD TO ACHIEVE:                                                           

The College administration is very proudly intimate that our two children of Special Children School has been selected for the  “Special Olympics World  Games” being held in Ethens, Greece from 24 June to 04 July 2011. Our student Shumaila Rubab won 01 Gold, 01 Silver and 01 bronze medals, whereas Zeshan Ali won Silver medal.

Construction of Primary Wing Bahria College Karsaz has been completed and classes are in progress in new building.
